Dream Boards
Creating an “Everything is Possible” dream board is a great way to kick off the school year! Everyone has dreams for their future, and a great way to bring a more concrete feeling to these dreams is by making a dream board. A dream board, or vision board, is a visual tool that serves as a guide to your goals for the future and focuses on how you want to feel in the future so that you can visualize it and eventually make it come to life.
In a staff meeting or small group, educators can create their own dream boards and display them for students, who then create their own. Use pictures, words, etc. from magazines or online and/or draw your own to create a dream board. Have fun and be creative while you focus on your dreams! Everything is Possible!

Spotlight on Success
Archbold Elementary – Archbold, Ohio
Each month we’ll share a story from a school or district implementing 7 Mindsets. This month’s story is from Chloe Stoller, school counselor at Archbold Elementary in Ohio.
“I began working at my elementary school in January 2022, which also happened to be the first year that 7 Mindsets was implemented district wide. I had the opportunity to dive into 7 Mindsets immediately and realized the positive impact it was having on our already-wonderful community!
“What I love about 7 Mindsets is that it is a research-based program proven to support individuals’ success and is impactful for everyone in the community. The mindsets not only support our students but also our staff! After a year, my principal and I spent the summer considering how we could integrate the 7 Mindsets in everything we do, which is how the “Caught You Cards” were developed. Once a student has received a card, his or her picture is posted on one of our main walls in our hallways next to the applicable mindset and a phone call home is made. This not only provides a daily reminder to focus on our mindset, but it also allows us to create positive conversations with stakeholders in our community.
“We celebrate each mindset at the end of the month with an assembly that includes everything from the mindset theme song to the dress-up theme! This month, for Everything is Possible, our mindset theme song is Believe by Shawn Mendez and the dress-up theme is ‘Career Day!’ I am so grateful to be a part of a district that recognizes the importance of 7 Mindsets in our community.”
